The Job:

We are looking for an experienced 360 Accounting and Finance Recruiter to join our client’s growing business. It is vital that this person has a proven track record working at a staffing agency sourcing and identifying talent while proactively bringing in new business for the firm.

The Client:

Our client is a New York City based firm that specializes in the placement of Accounting and Finance candidates across Financial Services and Corporate businesses.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Cultivate and expand client relationships within the accounting and finance sector in New York City
  • Understand and address clients’ hiring needs by providing tailored recruitment solutions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local market and industry trends

Candidate Sourcing and Assessment

  • Source top-tier accounting and finance professionals
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, evaluating technical skills, cultural fit, and career aspirations
  • Build a robust talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing demands

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial client engagement to candidate placement
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, reference checks, and salary negotiations
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems to efficiently manage and track progress

Market Insight and Strategy

  • Stay informed on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities in the A/F sector
  • Provide strategic insights to clients on market conditions and best practices

Business development

  • Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for client acquisition
  • Meet and exceed recruitment targets, contributing to the overall success of the team and agency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience as a full desk recruiter, specializing in accounting and finance roles
  • Strong network within the NYC market
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
