Position Overview:

Our team is currently looking for a Development Engineer for a client in the Motorsports Industry.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

• Responsible for creating development plans for concepts and component development.
• Looking at the full product life cycle from concept to production, in addition to executing the test and validations required to achieve project goals

Requirements:

• B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with an emphasis in internal combustion engines or electrified power trains and associated coursework such as fluid dynamics and thermodynamics .
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and/or have permanent residency.
• 5 years experience with development and testing of powertrains including test planning, procedure writing, data acquisition and analysis.
• Experience with powertrain or chassis dynamometer testing, data logging hardware and software, and test instrumentation a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively both verbally and in written form to a wide variety of audiences.

Working Conditions:

• On-site in Santa Clarita, Ca
• Relocation assistance- if applicable
• One year contract with possible extension/direct hire
