Job Description

We are currently seeking a BIM Coordinator for our client in Flemington, NJ!

Our client specializes in providing modular steel solutions, offering engineering, design, and prefabrication services to industries such as advanced manufacturing, healthcare, data centers, and commercial construction.

As BIM Coordinator, this individual will be responsible for working together with the project management team to develop and deliver a fully coordinated shop drawing package.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• BIM modeling, clash detection, design, and drafting.
• Collaborates with the project management team to develop shop drawings and models for coordination.
• Coordinates and manages Revit models.
• Creates, modifies, and updates Revit families.
• Attends project-related coordination meetings as needed.
• Works with managers and team members to establish, implement, and oversee standards and best practices.
• Maintains and updates drafting software.
• Reviews work from direct reports to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
• Coordinates with third-party engineers to produce fully engineered submittals.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Revit.
• Strong proficiency in Navisworks and Revit software.
• Experience with 3D model quantity extraction and 4D scheduling using Navisworks.
• Knowledge of Unistrut products is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Revit.
• Ability to modify and adapt files created by others.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings, details, and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
