About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time or Full Time Bookkeeper to join our team and support our finance operations during a critical phase of growth. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working with numbers, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with a company that values initiative and loyalty.

This position will start as a hybrid role (remote and in-person as needed) based in The Woodlands / Houston area , and will eventually transition to a full-time, in-office role when we open our physical office in the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and customer billing
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Maintain and update financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow and help track key financial metrics
  • Collaborate with the executive and operations teams on budgeting and expense tracking
  • Support external accountants and auditors with required documentation
  • Coordinate with international teams in Peru and Europe regarding:
  • Invoices and vendor payment schedules
  • Purchase orders and financial documentation
  • Tracking and consolidating international financial data
  • Help build out processes and systems to scale the finance department over time

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (2+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and basic tax regulations
  • Experience communicating with international teams across time zones
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote/hybrid setting
  • Located in or willing to commute to The Woodlands / Houston, TX area
  • Positive attitude, self-starter mentality, and a passion for being part of a growing team
