Job Title: Business Analyst II (Metadata Library Project)

Contract Rate: $55 per hour (W2)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 4x Days on site 1 day temote

Duration: Fully funded through July 2026

Location: Texas (local candidates only; exact site remains undisclosed)

About the Role

Our client has tasked us with recruiting 3x Business Analyst professionals to support a metadata library project . In this hybrid position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement a metadata library, document both business and technical metadata, and help guide data governance priorities. You will also work closely with program staff to bridge communication between technical solutions and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring smooth change management and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Metadata Library Implementation: Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of a metadata library.
• Documentation: Capture and maintain comprehensive business and technical metadata.
• Data Governance: Assist in defining and prioritizing data governance initiatives, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Provide clear, concise communications to public health program staff and other non-technical stakeholders.
• Change Management: Guide stakeholders through adjustments in technology and business processes related to the metadata library project.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

• Experience: At least 4 years in data governance, data management, or a similar field as a business analyst.
• Stakeholder Communication: Proven track record of preparing both verbal and written communications for non-technical audiences.
• Change Management: Skilled in coaching and guiding stakeholders through technology-driven process changes.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications (Preferred)

• Metadata Documentation: 2 years of experience documenting business and technical metadata.
• Informatica Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, or Informatica Data Quality.
• Public Health Exposure: Experience working with public health program areas or related data assets.
