Akkodis is seeking a Diagnostic Hardware Testing Technician for a Contract-to-Hire job with a client in Florence, Kentucky . This is an onsite position that will be testing and debugging hardware.

Rate Range: $22.00/hour to $24.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Diagnostic Hardware Testing Technician job responsibilities include:

• Running automatic tests to determine hardware failures.
• Finding the root cause of the failures at the actual equipment/hardware.
• Determining corrective action of the failures.
• Correcting the failures where possible (easy physical swap outs/replacements) or assigning Assembly to correct the failures. Where needed, pushing the root cause analysis of the failure to Test Engineering.
• Working within Linux to run commands and navigate the system to determine the error and trace it to the hardware failure.
• In-depth understanding of multiple computers performing a wide variety of operations via servers, hardware, and software.

Desired Qualifications:

• Understanding of Linux and the Linux command-based language.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting computers to determine potential faults and failures.
• Experience with debugging hardware.
