Mack & Associates, Ltd., one of Chicago’s few women owned staffing agencies, identifies, locates, and evaluates Chicago’s strongest business support professionals for Direct-Hire, Temp-to-Hire and Temporary/Flexible staffing services. We are expanding our team to hire an experienced Legal Recruiter due to demand for our services and are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional who has an established network within the Chicago legal community.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Recruiter with an established network within the Chicago legal community to spearhead our legal recruiting division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully placing legal support professionals across various practice areas and levels. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to source, assess, and match top legal talent with the right opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and recruit high-caliber legal professionals, including paralegals, legal support staff, and compliance professionals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with law firms and corporate legal departments to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruiting solutions.
  • Candidate Engagement: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to ensure the best fit for both clients and candidates.
  • Networking & Market Research: Stay informed about trends in the legal industry, attend networking events, and build a robust pipeline of legal talent.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial sourcing to offer negotiation.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of legal recruiting experience in Chicago.
  • Strong understanding of legal roles, industry trends, and law firm structures.
  • Existing network of legal professionals and hiring managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to manage long-term relationships.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed goals in a fast-paced environment.
