Job Description

1st Shift - 8:00a-4:30p. Previous GMP/Manufacturing experience highly preferred.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Facility Technician III to ensure the optimal functionality and safety of our facility systems and equipment in a GMP environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Please specify years of relevant experience.
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs. Please specify years of relevant experience.
• Address plumbing system maintenance and repairs. Please specify years of relevant experience.
• Assist with the operation and basic maintenance of boilers and chillers (minimal experience considered).
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to refrigerant-based equipment. If applicable, please detail your troubleshooting experience with this type of equipment.
• Interpret and utilize mechanical drawings and electrical schematics for troubleshooting and repair activities. Please indicate the number of years of experience in this area (highly preferred).
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a diverse range of facility and utility equipment. Please provide specific examples of equipment you have worked with.
• (Highly Preferred) Adhere to aseptic techniques and strict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols within cleanroom environments. If applicable, please specify the number of years of experience and the industries in which this experience was gained.
• Experience with any of the following systems:
• Cryogenic nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide systems.
• Water purification systems including reverse osmosis, deionization, softeners, and carbon filters.
• High purity water systems including distilled water systems.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• Technical Certification preferred (i.e. Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC/R)

Required Skills

• HVAC (including troubleshooting, repair, & filter changes)
• Electrical (including installs, troubleshooting, repairs from low voltage up to 480V)
• Plumbing and Piping (including compressed gas and cryogenic)
• Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
• Need to be able to read, write and understand English
