Math Instructor

1 year contract with auto renewal

We are seeking a candidate who has excellent customer service skills and can effectively communicate with a diverse internal and external customer base. This position serves as the water treatment, wastewater treatment, distribution systems, and collection systems math instructor. The preferred candidate will have teaching experience or experience training others and possess strong time management and organizational skills.

The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, biology, environmental science, geology or other math or environmental science related fields and three years of full-time work experience.

Required Responsibilities Include:

• Develop training material utilizing PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe, Publisher, etc.
• Present and speak in front of groups ranging from 5-60 people.
• Organize Microsoft Teams meetings and host training classes in a virtual setting.
• Writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings (emails, letters, etc.) to a varied audience.
• Must be proficient in math and can explain math to students with different levels of understanding.
• Occasional overnight travel.
