Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Specialist to join our team. The Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering customer orders into our ERP/CRM system, managing customer service issues, and supporting catalog sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP/CRM system, ensuring all fields such as name, address, account number, item number, price, and any sales or promotions are completed.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to unfulfilled orders. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Control: Check inventory levels to ensure orders can be fulfilled. Communicate with relevant departments to manage stock levels and address any shortages.
  • Order Follow-Up: Inform customers of expected delivery dates and follow up on orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to align inventory strategies with promotional activities, new product launches, and seasonal demands.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as an Order Entry Specialist or similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and ERP/CRM systems (Infor preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to problem-solve and address issues related to inventory discrepancies, stockouts, supplier handling, and transportation.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle complaints effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Business casual attire
  • Occasionally requires attending corporate functions
