Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a QC Inspector for our client in San Jose. This role is in the MANUFACTURING SECTOR. This is a 100% onsite, temp to permanent role with a starting pay of $28-$35 an hour based on experience. The working hours are Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm.

**Summary of Functions:**

We aim to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector with strong technical abilities to interpret engineering drawings. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that our products adhere to quality standards by conducting Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspections and documenting inspection results. While working under the guidance of the Quality Control Supervisor, the individual should be capable of working with minimal direct supervision.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Comply with all ISO and quality procedures.

- Document and report the quality of parts produced and received.

- Facilitate effective communication with team members to address and resolve issues.

- Follow established procedures when identifying discrepancies.

- Conduct daily inspections of parts produced and received, both visually and dimensionally, while documenting dimensions and any visual defects.

- Read, interpret, and enforce job notes, work instructions, and engineering drawings.

- Engage in transparent discussions with production and engineering personnel to resolve problems collaboratively.

**Organizational Relationships:**

The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Supervisor.

**Experience and Educational Requirements:**

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Proficiency in reading and writing in English is mandatory.

- Basic arithmetic skills are necessary, specifically in addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

- A keen attention to detail and a robust work ethic are required.

- Basic competency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

- Familiarity with engineering drawings and the ability to interpret schematics is advantageous.

- The candidate must be flexible to work morning and swing shifts.

**Physical Requirements:**

- The individual must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.

- The ability to stand for extended periods is required.

- The role involves the execution of repetitive manual tasks.

**Schedule:**

- 8-hour shifts: Morning shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and swing shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

- Potential for weekday and Saturday overtime.

**Experience:**

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector is required.

**Language:**

- Proficiency in English is required.
