Russell Tobin is seeking a Repair Technician for a medical device manufacturer in Oakdale, MN.

Job Title: Repair Technician - Electronic or Mechanical Repair

Location: Oakdale, MN 55128 (on-site)

Job Type: Contract

Length: 12-Months

Hours: 1st Shift, 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.40 per hour

Overview:

This position’s primary responsibility is to diagnose and repair Company Healthcare Hardware (electronic or mechanical) devices at the Company Heath Care Service Center (HCSC).

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, clean, and repair customer devices
• Generate/process service repair documentation to maintain repair traceability and facilitate customer invoicing
• Create repair estimates including the costs of service parts and labor
• Maintain local service parts inventories with the support of the HCSC Materials Control team
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workcell

Skills:

• Previous experience in operating common tools and test equipment required to repair such devices.
• Must be able to operate a PC utilizing the Microsoft Windows operating system and have basic, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other HCSC functional groups including customer service, depot repair technicians, and management to facilitate effective depot service operations.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferably, training from a two-year technical school or previous experience from a technical field or industry.
