Position Details:

• Role: School Social Worker (Contract)
• Location: Schools in Colorado
• School Year: 2024-2025 (with renewal option)
• Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
• Caseload: Opportunities at Elementary, Middle, and High School levels

Experience & Requirements:

• Required: Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and Colorado SSP License (School Social Worker)
• Preferred: Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents
• Preferred: Knowledge of mental health interventions, crisis management, and special education services

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement student support plans for academic and emotional success
• Conduct assessments to identify social and emotional barriers to student learning and development
• Offer crisis intervention and provide short-term or long-term support to students in need
• Promote a positive school culture by implementing programs focused on mental health awareness, bullying prevention, and conflict resolution
