Job Description

- Candidates must have a LinkedIn profile for consideration
- Necessary technical skills include Airflow, credit risk management, Python programming, fraud detection, and machine learning algorithms
- Nice-to-have skills include BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), and Google Cloud Platform for Machine Learning
- Role is part of the Risk Decisioning team at Etsy, focusing on the prevention of risk and fraud through ML technologies
- Role requires solving customer and business problems such as transactional fraud, fake account creation, and collusion fraud using machine learning techniques
- Responsibilities include scaling ideas to millions of users, developing and implementing end-to-end plans, and the improvement of existing ML systems
- Technical leadership on long-term strategy, roadmap, ML design, and system architecture is required
- Must have at least 3 years experience building ML models in the fraud/risk management space
- Experience deploying, debugging, and fine-tuning machine learning models in large-scale production systems in public clouds, with experience in Infrastructure as Code
- No background check or drug screen required
