Job Description

Position Objective

Under the leadership and guidance of the Store Manager, the Stock Associate is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house and front-of-house operational functions, i.e., processing deliveries of inbound/outbound stock transfers, and handling all aspects of the inventory, including, but not limited to, quality control, organization, consignment business, negative on-hands, shipments, supply management, and transfers.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Leverage company tools and resources to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of inventory protocols, receiving, (inbound/outbound), negative on hand, consignment management, supply management, etc.
  • Forward thinking to anticipate inventory movements.
  • Strong understanding of inventory reporting tools.
  • Responsible for product quality control & stock room organization.
  • Ensure effective communication between the store manager & other team members.
  • Partner with the stock manager to ensure all duties are executed promptly and accurately.
  • Act as a team player.
  • Ensure all functions of the store are maintained to support a safe and hazard-free environment.
  • Support in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocols/policies, procedures, and all related processes, including paperwork.
  • Participate in physical inventories.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service to each individual in the store when present on the floor.

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years’ prior work experience in a stock or inventory management role (associate).
  • Self-starter, strong follow-up, and attention to detail.
  • Independent work ethic, time management skills.
  • Computer skills to operate reporting and inventory management systems and UPS WorldShip.
