Columbia, MD– Commutable from Baltimore, Arlington, Washington DC & Frederick

Excellent opportunity for a Superintendent from looking to join a dynamic, industry leading construction company where you will work on a range of interesting projects, travel to a variety of locations across the East Coast whilst working for a prestigious, construction firm who have a great reputation for looking after their staff.
Are you a Superintendent with a commercial construction background? Are you looking for a role where you will be travelling typically for 3 months at a time across the East Coast and work on an array of technically interesting projects? This well established and leading organization has a fantastic reputation in Commercial Construction projects across the East Coast. They are working on some very interesting projects and due to considerable growth they are now looking to recruit a Superintendent to join their loyal and longstanding team.
In this role you will be working with a future driven team to collaborate on the organization of the site team, subcontractors and liaising with the Project Managers & the Design team to understand the drawings & apply what is required to ensure the project runs smoothly. This role will require you to be away for typically 3 months at a time which could be anywhere along the East Coast. In between Projects you will work from their Offices in Columbia, MD.
This role would therefore ideally suit a Superintendent who ideally has experience of working on restaurants or who is looking to work on these types of projects and to work for a company that is team focussed & a great place to work. They have exciting plans with an excellent pipeline across the next few years giving the right person a fantastic opportunity to grow & progress to manging high end projects.
Role:
* Construction Superintendent
* Ensuring the onsite team, along with subcontractors are completing necessary responsibilities to achieve project success
* Delegation & orchestrating construction related responsibilities on site – subcontractors, suppliers, reports, safety
* Providing progress reports & scheduling
* Progression opportunities – larger technical projects
The Person:
* Superintendent
* Experienced with new construction & renovation - Must be from a Commercial fitout background
* Happy to be away for 3 months at a time (Hotel / Airbnb Provided)
* Valid driver license
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal staff, subcontractors & clients
