Our client has an immediate opening for a full-time Transportation Design Engineer . The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, flexible and ready for any assignment, and a good communicator. Your Responsibilities & Preferred Attributes:

• Assist and support design teams in the execution of projects.
• Provide technical support in various stages of the project, including preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making.
• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design.
• Maintain positive team relationships.
• Understanding and knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
• Ability to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and criteria using sound judgment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Engineering Intern (EI) licensure.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• 0-3 years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of INDOT standards, procedures, and specifications.
