Job Description

We are seeking an Interim Senior Accountant for our healthcare client. This role will be responsible for bank reconciliations and fixed assets for month-end reporting. This includes the annual business property tax filing, various financial and governmental audit schedule preparations, and other assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records and reconciliations
• Review and validate departmental Expenditure Tracking Reports
• Prepare and record general ledger journal entries, including bank activities, accruals, adjustments, reclasses, prepaid and lease amortization, goodwill and fixed assets depreciation, intercompany billing and settlement, eliminations, and allocations.
• Participate in monthly close meetings, providing research and analytic support for financial fluctuation and trend analyses.
• Assist with interim and year-end audit processes, including schedule preparation and documentation review.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of related accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and analytical skills.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles related to ASC842 leases, business personal property, and fixed assets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience in a healthcare, CMS, or Medicare environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, Concur, SQL, Access, and Outlook is a plus.
