Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Telecom Construction Project Manager to lead and support the timely administration, design, and installation of strand radio units across a designated market. This position plays a critical role in the deployment of 5G infrastructure and will own the full lifecycle of strand unit development — from RF design to site closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of 5G deployment sites within a specific market from initiation through completion.
  • Research and analyze applicable planning and zoning codes and regulations relevant to 5G site deployment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to planning activities, communications, and site actions.
  • Review and approve all necessary zoning applications and supporting documents, including written site descriptions, justifications, technical plans, structural analyses, and visual simulations.
  • Collaborate in developing a strategic plan for 5G site deployment, including partner selection criteria and market-specific analysis.
  • Support sourcing and supplier management, including negotiations and contract execution for site development services.
  • Assist in the creation and evaluation of RFPs related to site development.
  • Oversee the site acquisition process in coordination with internal project management offices and adapt processes based on insights and lessons learned.
  • Ensure site development partners adhere to service-level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and deliverable expectations throughout the acquisition and development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure, wireless deployment, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and site acquisition processes.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendors to meet project timelines.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with RF design principles and internal ticketing systems is a plus.
